We rely on parents and carers to ensure every child is well presented for school.  Our uniform is practical, comfortable and all children are expected to wear it.  It’s an important way for children to feel included and it creates a professional working atmosphere across the school.

If you prefer to buy plain school uniform in the school colours without the school logo you are welcome to do so. 

 PE KIT

Pupils are expected to have their full P.E. kit in school throughout the week.  Children are not permitted to wear jewellery during P.E. or activities such as football, netball, etc. 

For health and safety reasons, all students must remove jewellery before participating in PE lessons, and long hair must be securely tied back.

If children wear earrings, parents are asked to ensure that their child can independently remove and reinsert them, as staff are not permitted to assist with this. Alternatively, earrings should be removed before the start of the school day. As a safe alternative, we permit the use of flat, soft, flexible, clear rubber earrings.

If ears are to be pierced, this should ideally take place at the beginning of the six-week holiday period, as healing can take up to six weeks (or slightly less with the use of appropriate aftercare solutions).

Staff are not responsible for items of jewellery removed for P.E. or other activities.

Every child is required to bring a pair of plimsolls or trainers (in a named bag), black shorts and T-shirt (house colour) for P.E. and games.
